Meet Jonathan Barlow

William & Mary School of Law Graduate, Business Owner, Husband and Father.

Jonathan is Managing Partner and an Estate and Trust Litigation Attorney for Clear Counsel Law Group. In addition to managing the growing and thriving law firm, Jonathan focuses his practice on estate and trust litigation and handles all kinds of disputes that arise after someone dies: from will and trust contests involving claims of lack of capacity and undue influence to pursuing claims against and removal of rogue executors and trustees, as well as a slew of other challenging disputed issues that families, heirs, beneficiaries, and fiduciaries face in estate and trust matters. Jonathan regularly welcomes clients referred to him by other practicing attorneys in the Las Vegas area who know and trust Jonathan to handle their clients with careful attention to detail and compassionate zealousness in working to resolve the difficult disputed issues they are facing.

Jonathan has focused his entire career on probate and trust administration work and has represented executors, administrators, and trustees related to the ordinary administration of estates and trusts in estates of all sizes, from multi-million dollar estates to estates of minimal value. Since founding Clear Counsel Law Group, Jonathan has also supervised hundreds of undisputed probate cases handled by the probate team at Clear Counsel Law Group. Jonathan’s experience with ordinary probate and trust administration has sharpened his knowledge and experience that now guides his focus on estate and trust litigation cases.

Jonathan is licensed to practice law in Nevada (2006) and in Utah (2013) and received his Juris Doctor degree from the nation’s oldest law school, William & Mary School of Law in 2006. At William & Mary, Jonathan served as Notes Editor on the William and Mary Law Review and as a teaching assistant, completed internships with the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Campaign Legal Center, and completed an externship with a Federal Magistrate Judge.

Prior to law school, Jonathan graduated from the University of Utah, cum laude, with an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

With his time away from the office, Jonathan enjoys spending his time with his wife, Kathryn, especially as they follow their four amazing children around with all of their activities that keep family life exciting and always on the go. Jonathan also enjoys spending time coaching his boys’ baseball teams and volunteering on the local Little League Board.
